The company

Koi Security is an early-stage company where outbound sales plays a central role in building pipeline. As the founding SDR, Michael Barr is responsible for getting prospects on the phone, booking meetings, and setting the tone for how the sales motion scales.

We spoke with Michael Barr, Founding SDR at Koi Security, about how Salesfinity replaced a slow, one-off calling workflow and made it possible to hit daily metrics without sacrificing time for other critical SDR responsibilities.

The challenge

Before Salesfinity, Michael was making calls through AmpleMarket using a one-click, one-call setup. While functional, it wasn't built for volume or speed, and that created friction as the team tried to scale outbound execution.

"Before it was mainly just out of AmpleMarket… one-off calls… one click, one call type of deal, but not as efficient as Salesfinity. It was just slow… not efficient, and you couldn't get a lot of calls out in a little amount of time."

For a founding SDR trying to establish a repeatable motion and hit daily activity targets, that lack of efficiency was a real constraint.

The solution

When Koi Security decided to invest in a power dialer, the evaluation came down to a few options, but one requirement was non-negotiable: native integration with AmpleMarket. The team wasn't planning to leave AmpleMarket, so tight integration mattered more than almost anything else.

"We were looking at various different power dialers… Salesfinity was the winner at the end. AmpleMarket integration was the main thing… the deal breaker between other platforms was they didn't have the native integration like you guys do."

Once the integration was live, Michael found the workflow intuitive and fast to adopt.

"Under a week I was in… I've had experience with other power dialers in the past… after getting the AmpleMarket integration up and running, it was really easy to get a lot of calls out and start booking meetings."

The impact

The most immediate shift was volume. Michael could now make significantly more calls in far less time, which translated directly into better connect rates and more meetings. That efficiency made daily metrics realistic instead of aspirational.

"A lot more calls… just very easy to hop in… the workflow of it all… cold calling prospects became a lot more seamless… you can press one button and call a bunch of different prospects at the same time. Sales teams today have daily metrics, including us… it's a lot easier to hit those and book more meetings."

When asked to quantify daily activity, Michael shared a concrete benchmark that highlights the leverage Salesfinity provides.

"On Salesfinity I would say right now maybe like a hundred calls… that takes about 30 minutes."

Beyond raw volume, the improvement in connect rate stood out as a major unlock.

"The connect rate is amazing… it gives you a lot more at-bats… if you're a good cold caller, you should be able to book more meetings… the big challenge before was just connect rate on calls because you can't get out a lot of calls in a short amount of time like you can with Salesfinity."

Workflow transformation

Salesfinity didn't just increase calls, it freed up time for everything else an SDR is responsible for managing throughout the day. Michael uses the platform efficiently without needing to rely on every feature, keeping his workflow simple and focused.

"Definitely made it a lot more time efficient… I'm doing other things like LinkedIn messaging, internal meetings, external meetings… being able to get a lot of calls out in a short amount of time is very helpful. I wouldn't say I use a ton of features, but mainly the dialer… I like that we're able to call up to five people at a time… that's the main thing I use."

Why Salesfinity

For Michael, the value of Salesfinity is straightforward: it's a force multiplier. And for teams that don't have parallel dialing yet, the gap is real.

"You can call up to five people at once… it's like five SDRs essentially that are calling. If you don't have a power dialer or Salesfinity, you're definitely getting beat out by other people that do."

Who it's for

Michael sees Salesfinity as a clear fit for teams where outbound calling is a core part of the sales motion.

"Definitely business development, sales teams… sales development is probably the most beneficial."

In one sentence

"Salesfinity is a quick and easy power dialer where you're able to efficiently call a lot of people in a short amount of time… it also has a native AmpleMarket integration."

Top features used

  • Parallel dialing (calling up to 5 people at once)

  • Native AmpleMarket integration

  • Simple, fast workflow for high-volume calling

  • Streamlined execution tied to daily metrics

"We were looking at various different power dialers… Salesfinity was the winner at the end. AmpleMarket integration was the main thing… the deal breaker between other platforms was they didn't have the native integration like you guys do."
