ActiveCampaign

Dial ActiveCampaign deals by pipeline and stage, with deal notes on the dialer card, and log calls back as notes with task outcomes.

What the ActiveCampaign integration does

Salesfinity's ActiveCampaign integration builds calling lists from your deal pipelines and stages, pulls the associated contacts, tasks and deal notes into the dialer, and writes each call back to ActiveCampaign as a deal note with the outcome. It connects with an ActiveCampaign API key and account URL rather than OAuth.

What comes in from ActiveCampaign

  • Deal groups and their deal stages, which act as the selectable calling lists.

  • Open deals owned by you within a chosen pipeline and stage, with the linked contact.

  • Contact detail including job title and location data from the contact record.

  • Deal notes and the deal's title, value and description, shown as context on the dialer card.

  • Open tasks assigned to you on those deals, plus your configured task outcomes.

What gets written back to ActiveCampaign

  • A note on the deal for every connected call, recording the call outcome and the rep's notes.

  • Task completion with a task outcome, using the outcome values configured in your ActiveCampaign account.

  • An optional deal stage advance, moving the deal to the next stage when the call outcome calls for it.

What this integration does not do

  • It does not export contacts from Salesfinity into ActiveCampaign.

  • It does not write phone number corrections back onto the contact record.

Common use cases

Calling every open deal in a pipeline stage

A rep needs to work every deal sitting in a given stage. They select the pipeline and stage in Salesfinity, which loads the open deals they own with the contact attached, and dials them in parallel. Each conversation is written back as a note on the deal.

Advancing deals on the call instead of afterwards

A conversation ends with the prospect agreeing to a next step. The rep picks the outcome in Salesfinity, the deal note is written, the open task is closed with an ActiveCampaign task outcome, and the deal moves to the next stage — without a second pass through the CRM.

Opening the call with the deal history in front of you

Because Salesfinity pulls the deal's notes, title, value and description along with the contact's job title, a rep who connects with almost no warning still sees why the deal exists and what was last discussed.

How to connect ActiveCampaign to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Find ActiveCampaign and click Connect.

  3. Paste your ActiveCampaign API key and your account URL. Salesfinity validates them and records your ActiveCampaign user.

  4. Salesfinity reads your deal groups, stages and task outcomes so call results can be mapped.

  5. Go to Contact lists, choose ActiveCampaign as the source, and pick the pipeline and stage you want to dial.

Frequently asked questions

Does Salesfinity log calls back to ActiveCampaign?

Yes. Each connected call is written as a note on the associated deal, containing the call outcome and the rep's notes. If a task was attached, it is closed with an ActiveCampaign task outcome.

How does Salesfinity choose which ActiveCampaign contacts to dial?

By pipeline and stage. The selectable unit is a deal group and its stages, and Salesfinity loads the open deals you own in that stage along with their linked contacts, rather than importing a flat contact list.

Can Salesfinity move a deal to the next stage after a call?

Yes. When the outcome indicates the deal should progress, Salesfinity updates the deal's stage in ActiveCampaign as part of logging the call.

How does Salesfinity authenticate to ActiveCampaign?

With an API key and your account URL, not OAuth. Both are entered in Salesfinity and verified against your ActiveCampaign account before the connection is saved.
