HubSpot

Pull HubSpot lists, call tasks, notes and emails into the parallel dialer, and write calls, task completions and phone corrections back.

What the HubSpot integration does

Salesfinity's HubSpot integration turns HubSpot contact lists and due call tasks into dialable calling lists, then writes every call back to the contact record as a logged engagement. Each rep connects their own HubSpot account over OAuth, so calls, notes and task completions are attributed to that rep's HubSpot owner record rather than to a shared service account.

What comes in from HubSpot

  • Contact lists, with search and paging, so a rep can pick a specific list to dial.

  • Due call tasks, filtered to CALL-type tasks that are still not started, with the associated contact resolved.

  • Notes and emails on the contact, shown on the dialer card so the rep has context before the prospect answers.

  • Company records, deals and deal pipeline and stage maps.

  • Contact, company and deal properties, including custom fields, so your own field names are available for mapping.

  • HubSpot owners and users, mapped to Salesfinity users.

What gets written back to HubSpot

  • A call engagement for every connected call, carrying the disposition, call notes, duration, the from and to numbers, and the recording URL.

  • Task completion — open CALL tasks are marked completed after the call.

  • Contact property updates, including adding a new phone number or correcting an existing one into the right mobile, office or direct slot.

  • Contacts exported from Salesfinity back into HubSpot, and contacts added to or removed from HubSpot lists.

  • Enrollment of a contact into a HubSpot sequence.

Dispositions and reporting

  • Salesfinity dispositions are mapped to HubSpot's own call outcome values, so existing HubSpot call reporting keeps working without new fields.

  • Because the call is written as a native engagement, it appears on the contact timeline alongside emails and meetings.

Common use cases

Working a HubSpot call task queue with a parallel dialer

A rep starts their day with a queue of due call tasks in HubSpot. Salesfinity pulls those tasks with their contacts attached and dials several at once, dropping voicemails and dead numbers so the rep only talks to people who pick up. When the call ends, the disposition and notes go back onto the contact and the HubSpot task is marked complete.

Calling a marketing-qualified list without exporting a CSV

Marketing builds a HubSpot list of contacts who hit a scoring threshold. Instead of exporting to CSV and re-uploading, the team picks that list directly inside Salesfinity and dials it. Every connected call is logged back to the same HubSpot contacts, so attribution stays intact.

Fixing bad phone data as you dial

Reps constantly discover that a number is wrong, or that the real mobile is different from the one in the CRM. Salesfinity writes the corrected number back to the HubSpot contact in the correct phone property, so the next person to call that contact does not repeat the mistake.

Frequently asked questions

Does Salesfinity log calls back to HubSpot?

Yes. Salesfinity creates a call engagement on the HubSpot contact for each connected call, including the disposition, notes, call duration, the numbers dialed and received, and the recording URL. The engagement appears on the contact's activity timeline.

Can Salesfinity import HubSpot contact lists?

Yes. Salesfinity reads your HubSpot contact lists and their members, and can also build a calling queue from due CALL-type tasks assigned to you. You pick the list inside Salesfinity, so no CSV export is needed.

Does Salesfinity update phone numbers in HubSpot?

Yes. When a rep corrects or adds a phone number during a call, Salesfinity patches the HubSpot contact and places the number in the appropriate mobile, office or direct phone property.

Is the HubSpot connection per rep or per team?

Per rep. Each user authorizes their own HubSpot account over OAuth, and Salesfinity refreshes that user's token automatically. This is what allows call activity and task completion to be attributed to the correct HubSpot owner.

Do my custom HubSpot properties work?

Yes. Salesfinity reads the property definitions on contacts, companies and deals from your portal, including custom fields, so you map your own field names rather than a fixed list.
