What the Apify integration does
Salesfinity's Apify integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion start Apify actors in your account, check run status, and read the datasets those runs produce. It is an assistant-level connection to your own Apify account. Results are returned in the Companion conversation and are not written into Salesfinity contact lists automatically.
Running and monitoring actors
Start an actor you name, with input you review before the run begins.
Check whether a run has finished, failed or is still going.
Read items from the resulting dataset and summarize them.
Cost and approval behavior
Actor runs consume compute units on your Apify account, so starting a run is treated as a write action and requires your approval.
The Companion does not schedule recurring runs on its own.
Common use cases
Collecting structured detail on a target account list
You want specific public information about a set of companies before your team calls them. Ask the Companion to run an actor you already use for that job, wait for the run, and summarize the dataset so you can decide which accounts to prioritize in the dialer.
Checking a research run without opening the Apify console
A long-running actor is collecting data while you dial. Between connects, ask the Companion whether the run finished and how many items it produced, instead of switching tabs mid-session.
Turning a dataset into something you can act on
After a run completes, ask the Companion to summarize the dataset and pull out the fields that matter for your outreach. If you want that as a calling list, you still export it and import the CSV into Salesfinity, which keeps the list building step explicit.
How to connect Apify to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Select Apify from the AI Companion integrations.
Enter your Apify API token on the Composio connection screen.
Confirm the connection is active in Salesfinity.
Ask the AI Companion to list your recent Apify runs to check that it can read your account.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Apify integration import scraped data into Salesfinity as a calling list?
No. Dataset results stay in Apify and are surfaced in the Companion conversation. To dial the results, export the dataset as CSV and import it into Salesfinity, or build the list with the List Builder.
Will running actors cost me money?
Runs consume resources on your own Apify account under your existing plan. Because of that, the Companion asks for your approval before starting any run.
Which actors can the Companion run?
Any actor the connected Apify account can run. You name the actor and review its input before the run starts; the Companion does not pick arbitrary actors on its own.
Do I need Apify if I already use the List Builder?
Probably not for standard prospecting. The List Builder is the supported path for sourcing prospects and producing dialable lists. Apify is useful when you need a specific, custom data collection job that general prospecting tools do not cover.
