What the BetterContact integration does

Salesfinity's BetterContact integration lets the AI Companion submit enrichment requests to your own BetterContact account and read the results. BetterContact runs a waterfall across multiple data vendors to find a verified email or phone number, and this connection lets you trigger that from the Companion chat. It is connected through Composio at the assistant level and uses your BetterContact subscription and credits.

BetterContact charges for successful finds, so every enrichment request requires your explicit approval before it runs. The Companion states which contacts it intends to enrich and waits for you.

Enrichment the Companion can request

• Submit a person for email enrichment using name and company or a LinkedIn URL

• Request a phone number lookup for a named contact

• Submit a small batch and retrieve the results when the job finishes

• Read back which records were found and which came back empty

Rescuing a list where the phone column is half empty

A list imported from an old export has names and companies but few numbers. Ask the Companion to run the missing rows through BetterContact, approve the spend, and see how many come back with a dialable number before deciding whether the list is worth a session.

Comparing coverage before committing a large spend

Ask the Companion to enrich a small sample through BetterContact first. Approving twenty records tells you the hit rate on your specific ICP, which is a better basis for a decision than a vendor's published average.

How to connect BetterContact to Salesfinity

1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

2. Select BetterContact from the Composio-connected apps.

3. Paste your BetterContact API key from your BetterContact account.

4. Save and confirm the connection shows as active.

5. Ask the AI Companion to submit a single test enrichment and approve it to confirm results return.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Companion spend BetterContact credits without my approval?

No. Paid enrichment always requires explicit approval before it runs. Nothing is submitted to BetterContact until you confirm the specific request.

Does the BetterContact integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?

No. It returns enrichment results for the records you asked about. It does not import contacts or build calling lists on its own. Use a native CRM integration, a CSV import, or List Builder for that.

Why would I use this instead of Salesfinity's own enrichment?

Salesfinity has built-in contact enrichment that also requires approval before spending. This integration is for teams that already have a BetterContact contract and want results from that waterfall and those vendors specifically.

Do I need my own BetterContact plan?
