Close

Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion look up Close leads, contacts and opportunities and post approved updates. It is not a record-level CRM sync.

What the Close integration does

Salesfinity's Close integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion search leads, contacts and opportunities in your Close account and write approved updates such as a note or a field change. It is an assistant-level connection, not one of Salesfinity's native CRM integrations. It does not import leads as calling lists, and it does not write call logs, recordings or dispositions back to Close.

Lookups the Companion can run

  • Find a lead or contact by name, company or email and read its details.

  • List opportunities by status, value or owner.

  • Read existing notes and custom fields on a record before you call it.

Approved write actions

  • Add a note to a lead or contact.

  • Update a field you specify on a record.

  • Create a lead or opportunity from information you provide.

What it does not do

  • No automatic call log write-back and no disposition mapping.

  • No import of Close leads into a Salesfinity contact list.

  • No background sync of any kind.

Common use cases

Checking a lead's history before you dial it

A number comes up in your queue and you want to know whether anyone has worked it. Ask the Companion what Close holds on that lead, including the last note and opportunity status, so you open the call knowing the history instead of starting cold.

Recording an outcome you do not want to lose

A call surfaces a budget cycle or a competitor contract end date. Ask the Companion to add that as a note to the Close lead. You approve the text, and it lands in the CRM the rest of the team reads.

Answering a pipeline question without leaving the dialer

Between calling blocks, ask the Companion which open opportunities in Close have not been touched in two weeks. That gives you a concrete callback list to assemble, though you still build the actual calling list through the supported import paths.

How to connect Close to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select Close from the AI Companion integrations.

  3. Enter your Close API key on the Composio connection screen.

  4. Confirm Salesfinity shows the integration as connected.

  5. Ask the AI Companion to look up a lead you know exists, to verify access.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Close integration sync contacts into Salesfinity or import calling lists?

No. This is an assistant-level integration only. It does not import leads or create contact lists. Salesfinity's native CRM integrations, currently Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio and ActiveCampaign, are the ones that import contacts for dialing. You can also use CSV import or the List Builder.

Does Salesfinity log calls back to Close automatically?

No. There is no call log write-back and no disposition mapping for Close. Call records, recordings, transcripts and dispositions stay in Salesfinity. The Companion can add a note when you ask and approve it.

Why is Close treated differently from Salesforce or HubSpot?

Salesforce and HubSpot have purpose-built native integrations in Salesfinity that handle list import and activity write-back. Close is reached through Composio, which gives the AI Companion read and approved-write access but not the record-level plumbing a native integration provides.

Can the Companion change my Close data without asking?

No. Every create, update or delete is presented to you for approval before it runs.
