Forager

Bring your own Forager key for structured people search by exact job title, location, employer headcount and time in role.

What the Forager integration does

Salesfinity's Forager integration runs structured people search using exact filters rather than free text: job title, person location, employer headcount range, and how long someone has been in their current role. Results feed people rows in the List Builder, and Forager can also enrich a company by domain. The key is bring-your-own and stored for your team.

Structured people search

  • Exact job titles, matched as quoted terms rather than loose keywords.

  • Person location, resolved to Forager's own location IDs so a city means that city.

  • Employer headcount, as a numeric range.

  • Time in current role, as a numeric range — useful for catching people recently moved into a seat.

What Forager does not filter on

Forager's structured endpoint does not accept seniority, department, industry, technology or keyword filters. If your segment is defined by industry or tech stack, use a provider built for it — Sumble for technology and department headcount, Prospeo for seniority and department, or Exa for open-ended description-based search.

Company enrichment

  • Enrich a company by domain to return a firmographic record.

Common use cases

Building a title-exact list in one metro

When you sell to a specific title in a specific city, loose keyword search drags in near-matches and neighboring regions. Forager's quoted titles and ID-based locations keep the list tight, so reps are not dialing people who only looked right in a preview.

Catching people who just changed roles

Filtering on a short time in current role surfaces people still forming their vendor decisions. Pair it with an employer headcount range so the list stays inside the company sizes you actually close.

Sizing outreach to company scale

The employer headcount range lets one persona search be split into separate lists for SMB and mid-market, so reps can change the pitch without rebuilding the search.

Frequently asked questions

What filters can I use with Forager in Salesfinity?

Exact job title, person location, employer headcount range, and time in current role. Seniority, department, industry, technology and keyword filters are not supported by Forager's structured search.

Does Forager return phone numbers and emails?

Search returns profiles. Contact details come from a separate enrichment step, and paid enrichment always requires your explicit approval before any credits are spent.

Do I need my own Forager account?

Yes. Forager is a bring-your-own-key provider. Your key is stored for your team, so searches run on your own Forager contract and credits.

Can Forager search for companies?

Forager is used for people search in Salesfinity. For companies it enriches by domain rather than running a filtered company search — use OpenFunnel, Ocean.io or Sumble to build a company list.
