Gong
Push Salesfinity call recordings and metadata into Gong, and surface a contact's prior Gong conversations on the dialer card.
What the Gong integration does
Salesfinity's Gong integration uploads Salesfinity call recordings and call metadata into Gong, so parallel-dialer calls land in the same place as the rest of your team's conversations. It also reads back: when a rep is about to speak with a contact, Salesfinity looks that contact up in Gong by phone number or email address and shows prior Gong conversations on the dialer card. Gong is the one Salesfinity integration that is authorized at the team level rather than per individual user, so a single connection covers the whole team.

Common use cases
Keeping every conversation in one system of record
Teams standardized on Gong usually want every customer conversation there, not just meetings booked through a calendar. Salesfinity uploads each dialer call with its recording, disposition and duration, so cold calls sit alongside demos and discovery calls in Gong.
Walking into a call knowing what was already said
Before the rep connects, Salesfinity matches the contact against Gong by phone number or email and shows the conversations that already exist. A rep dialing a prospect an AE spoke to two months ago sees that history on the card instead of opening it cold.
Attributing dialer activity to the right rep in Gong
The integration maps Salesfinity users to Gong users, so an uploaded call is credited to the rep who actually made it. Managers reviewing activity in Gong see accurate per-rep coverage that includes parallel-dialer calls.

Frequently asked questions
Does Salesfinity send call recordings to Gong?
Yes. Salesfinity uploads the call recording to Gong together with the call's start time, duration, direction, disposition, call purpose and the parties on the call.
Do I still need Gong if Salesfinity already records and scores calls?
No, not for recording itself. Salesfinity has its own call recording, transcription and AI call scoring. The Gong integration exists for teams already standardized on Gong who want dialer calls to land in that system of record too.
Is Gong connected per user or per team?
Per team. Gong is the one Salesfinity integration keyed to the team rather than an individual user, so one authorization covers everyone, with a user mapping deciding which Gong user each uploaded call is attributed to.
How does Salesfinity match a contact to their Gong history?
By phone number or email address. Salesfinity queries Gong with the contact's phone number and email and shows any prior conversations it finds on the dialer card.
