Google Address Validation

Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion check and standardize postal addresses through Google's Address Validation API on request.

What the Google Address Validation integration does

Salesfinity's Google Address Validation integration lets the AI Companion check whether a postal address is real, correct its formatting and return a standardized version, using Google's Address Validation API through Companion requests. It is a narrow, single-purpose connection: address in, verdict and cleaned address out. It runs against your own Google Cloud project and your own billing.

What a validation returns

  • Whether the address could be confirmed against Google's data

  • A standardized, correctly formatted version of the address

  • Which components were missing, inferred or corrected

  • Region-appropriate formatting for supported countries

What it is not for

  • It does not clean phone numbers. Salesfinity validates the numbers on your calling lists itself.

  • It does not geocode territories or build maps.

  • It does not update addresses stored in your CRM. That belongs to the native CRM integrations.

Common use cases

Cleaning shipping details for a swag or direct mail send

A campaign is sending physical items to booked meetings. Before the list goes to fulfillment, you paste the addresses into the Companion and ask it to validate them, so packages do not come back undelivered.

Confirming an office location a prospect gave on a call

A rep writes down an address during a conversation and it looks off. The Companion validates it and returns the corrected street and postal code, which then goes into the call notes accurately.

Sanity-checking territory assignment data

A list of account addresses was imported from a spreadsheet with inconsistent formatting. You have the Companion validate a sample to see how many are malformed before the whole file gets used for territory splits.

How to connect Google Address Validation to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select Google Address Validation from the Composio-connected apps.

  3. Authorize with the Google account tied to the Cloud project that has the Address Validation API enabled.

  4. Confirm the connection is active in Salesfinity.

  5. Ask the Companion to validate one known address to confirm the API responds.

Frequently asked questions

Does this integration sync contacts or addresses into Salesfinity?

No. It validates addresses you give it during a conversation and returns the result. Contact records come from the native CRM integrations or List Builder.

Who pays for the API calls?

You do. Validation requests bill to the Google Cloud project you connected, under Google's own pricing for the Address Validation API.

Does it validate phone numbers too?

No. It handles postal addresses only. Salesfinity performs its own phone number validation on contact lists before dialing.

Will it change records without asking?

No. Any action that would write or update data requires your approval first. On its own, validation only returns information.
