Google Calendar
Read calendars and events and create, update or delete meetings from Salesfinity, so calls that book a meeting are scheduled on the spot.
What the Google Calendar integration does
Salesfinity's Google Calendar integration gives full event control over a rep's calendar: list calendars, read events on a calendar, and create, update or delete an event. It is used for booking the meetings that come out of calls, so a rep who gets a yes on a parallel-dialer connect can put the meeting on the calendar without leaving Salesfinity. Each rep connects their own Google account through OAuth.
Reading the calendar
Lists the calendars on the connected Google account.
Reads the events on a chosen calendar.
Managing events
Creates a new event on a chosen calendar.
Updates an existing event.
Deletes an event.
Common use cases
Booking the meeting during the call
A prospect agrees to a demo while still on the phone. The rep reads the calendar to find an open slot and creates the event before hanging up, instead of promising to send an invite later and losing the momentum.
Moving a meeting a prospect wants to reschedule
Reschedule requests often come in on a follow-up dial rather than by email. Because the integration can update and delete events, the rep changes the existing meeting on the call rather than cancelling and rebuilding it afterwards.
Checking availability before proposing times
Reading events on the connected calendar means a rep can offer times they are actually free, which avoids the double-booking that happens when meetings are agreed verbally and entered hours later.

Frequently asked questions
Can Salesfinity create calendar events in Google Calendar?
Yes. Salesfinity's Google Calendar integration can create, update and delete events on a connected calendar, in addition to listing calendars and reading their events.
Can I book a meeting while I am still on a call?
Yes. That is the primary use for this integration: reps read their availability and create the event from Salesfinity for meetings that come out of a call.
Does each rep connect their own calendar?
Yes. Google Calendar is authorized per user, so each rep connects their own Google account and works with their own calendars.
Can Salesfinity delete or change an existing meeting?
Yes. The integration supports updating and deleting events, so a rep can reschedule or cancel a meeting that already exists.
