What the Google Docs integration does
Salesfinity's Google Docs integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion open and read documents in your Google Docs account, and create or append to documents when you ask it to. It is an assistant-level connection. It does not sync documents into Salesfinity, and it has nothing to do with importing contacts or building calling lists.
Reading documents
Pull the text of a specific document by name or link, such as a cold call script, objection-handling guide or ICP definition.
Summarize a long document so you can act on it between dialing blocks.
Use a document as context when you ask the Companion to draft messaging.
Writing documents, with your approval
Create a new document from something the Companion produced, such as a weekly call summary or a revised script.
Append a section to an existing document.
Update text in a document you point it at.
Document creation and edits are held for your approval before anything changes in your Drive.
Common use cases
Turning a week of call scoring into a coaching doc
Ask the Companion to summarize the AI call scoring results for a rep across the week, then write that summary into a new Google Doc in your coaching folder. The rep gets a document they can reread before their next session rather than a message that scrolls away.
Keeping the call script in one canonical place
Your team's opener lives in a Google Doc. Ask the Companion to read it before it helps you write a new variant, so what it drafts matches the language your reps are already using rather than inventing a parallel version.
Writing up a discovery call while it is still fresh
After a connect, ask the Companion to draft notes from the call transcript and append them to the account's running document. You approve the edit, and the notes land in the same doc your AE will read before the next meeting.
How to connect Google Docs to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Select Google Docs from the AI Companion integrations.
Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested document permissions on the Composio consent screen.
Verify the connection shows as active in Salesfinity.
Ask the AI Companion to read a document you know the name of, to confirm access.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Google Docs integration import contacts or calling lists?
No. Google Docs is a document tool and this integration does not create contacts in Salesfinity. Build calling lists with CSV import, a native CRM integration, or the List Builder.
Can the AI Companion edit a document without me seeing it first?
No. Creating a document, appending to one, or editing existing text all require your approval before the change is made.
Which documents can the Companion see?
Only what the Google account you connect can already access, and only when you ask for a specific document. The integration does not index or copy your Drive.
Is this the same as the Google Drive integration?
No. Google Docs works with the contents of documents. The separate Google Drive integration handles finding, organizing and sharing files. Connect both if you want the Companion to locate a file and then read it.
