Google Maps
Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion look up businesses, addresses, and place details on Google Maps for ad-hoc questions.
What the Google Maps integration does
Salesfinity's Google Maps integration lets the AI Companion look up places, businesses, and addresses and return details such as location, category, phone number where published, and opening hours. It is connected through Composio at the assistant level and runs a lookup only when you ask a question that needs one. It is meant for one-off checks during a conversation, not for building lists.
If you are sourcing local or SMB businesses in volume, use OpenMart, which is Salesfinity's native provider for local business sourcing and feeds results directly into List Builder. Google Maps here answers individual questions.
Lookups the Companion can run
Find a business by name and city and return its listing details
Look up the address and category of a specific place
Check opening hours or the publicly listed phone number for a location
Search for businesses of a type near a given area
Resolve an ambiguous company name to a real physical location
Common use cases
Confirming you are calling the right branch
Multi-location businesses share a name across a region. Ask the Companion to check the Maps listing for the specific city on the record, and the rep dials the branch that matches the address instead of a head office two states away.
Sanity-checking a local list before a dialing block
Ask the Companion to look up a few businesses from a local list and confirm they are still listed and operating at that address. Permanently closed listings explain a lot of dead numbers before a rep burns a session on them.
Getting time zone context before dialing
Ask the Companion where a business is actually located, then decide whether it is a reasonable hour there. This matters most for lists that mix regions and were sorted by something other than geography.

Frequently asked questions
Can I build a calling list of local businesses with this?
No. This integration answers individual lookups in the chat and does not create contact lists. For sourcing local and SMB businesses into a dialable list, use OpenMart through List Builder, which is built for that purpose.
Are the phone numbers from Google Maps ready to dial?
They are publicly listed business numbers, which usually reach a main line rather than a named person. Treat them as a starting point, and use Salesfinity's contact enrichment when you need a direct line to a specific individual.
Does it sync anything into Salesfinity?
No. Nothing is imported or stored as records. Results appear in the Companion conversation for you to act on.
