Mails.so
Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion verify email deliverability through your own Mails.so account, with approval before credits are spent.
What the Mails.so integration does
Salesfinity's Mails.so integration lets the AI Companion check whether email addresses are deliverable, using your own Mails.so account and credits. You give it addresses in a conversation, it returns a verdict for each, and because verification is billed to you, the Companion asks for approval before running anything that costs credits.
Verification the Companion can run
Check a single address and return its deliverability result
Verify a short batch of addresses you provide
Flag disposable, role-based and catch-all domains
Report which addresses came back risky rather than clean
How it sits alongside Salesfinity
Salesfinity performs its own validation on the phone numbers your parallel dialer will call. Mails.so covers email, which is a separate channel.
Results are returned in the conversation and are not written onto contact records automatically.
All usage draws from the Mails.so plan attached to the API key you connect.
Common use cases
Cleaning a purchased list before anyone emails it
A list came from an outside source and nobody trusts it. You have the Companion verify a sample through Mails.so, see the bounce risk, and decide whether the file is worth using at all before it touches your sending domain.
Checking one address before an important follow-up
A rep is sending a proposal to a decision maker whose email was typed from memory during a call. A single verification confirms the address exists before the proposal disappears into a bounce.
Deciding which contacts are phone-only
Some contacts come back as catch-all or risky. Rather than emailing them, you route those names into a Salesfinity calling list and reach them by phone instead.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Mails.so integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?
No. It verifies addresses you supply during a conversation. Contacts enter Salesfinity through the native CRM integrations or List Builder.
Whose credits are used for verification?
Yours. Verification bills to the Mails.so account behind the API key you connected.
Will the Companion verify a whole list without asking?
No. Paid verification requires explicit approval before it runs, so you always know when credits are about to be spent.
Does this replace Salesfinity's own validation?
No. Salesfinity validates phone numbers for dialing. Mails.so validates email addresses. They cover different channels and can be used together.
