Microsoft Dynamics 365

Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion query Dynamics 365 records and post approved updates. It is assistant-level access, not a CRM sync.

What the Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration does

Salesfinity's Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration connects through Composio and lets the Salesfinity AI Companion query accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities in your Dynamics environment and submit approved record updates. It is an assistant-level connection rather than one of Salesfinity's native CRM integrations. It does not import contacts as calling lists and it does not write call activity back to Dynamics.

Querying your Dynamics environment

  • Look up an account, contact or lead and read its fields.

  • List opportunities filtered by stage, owner or estimated close date.

  • Read notes and activity already recorded on a record.

Updates that require your approval

  • Add a note or annotation to a record.

  • Update fields you specify on a lead, contact or opportunity.

  • Create a record from details you supply.

Boundaries to be clear about

  • No automatic call logging, activity creation or disposition mapping.

  • No import of Dynamics records into Salesfinity contact lists.

  • No scheduled or background synchronization.

Common use cases

Getting account context before a targeted calling session

Before dialing into a named account list, ask the Companion what Dynamics shows for those accounts: owner, open opportunities and recent activity. You avoid calling into an account where a colleague already has a live deal.

Capturing a qualification detail straight after a connect

A prospect gives you their renewal date and the incumbent vendor. Ask the Companion to add that as an annotation on the Dynamics record. You review the text, approve it, and the detail is preserved somewhere the account team will look.

Building a callback shortlist from pipeline data

Ask the Companion which Dynamics opportunities in your territory have gone quiet this quarter. Use the answer to decide who is worth a call, then create the calling list through CSV import or the List Builder.

How to connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select Microsoft Dynamics 365 from the AI Companion integrations.

  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account and specify your Dynamics environment URL on the Composio connection screen.

  4. Confirm the connection shows as active in Salesfinity.

  5. Ask the AI Companion to look up a known account to verify it can read your environment.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Dynamics 365 integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?

No. It does not import contacts and it does not build calling lists. Salesfinity's native CRM integrations, currently Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio and ActiveCampaign, handle contact import for dialing. CSV import and the List Builder are the other supported paths.

Will my Salesfinity calls appear as activities in Dynamics?

No. There is no call log write-back or disposition mapping for Dynamics. Call recordings, transcripts, scores and dispositions remain in Salesfinity. The Companion can add a note you approve, but nothing is logged automatically.

What permissions does the connection use?

It operates with the permissions of the Microsoft account you connect. If that user cannot see a table or field in Dynamics, the Companion cannot either.

Can it act on Dynamics records without my approval?

No. Every create, update or delete is shown to you first and only runs after you approve it.
