Microsoft Teams

Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion read Teams channels and post messages with your approval, so call outcomes reach the team where they work.

What the Microsoft Teams integration does

Salesfinity's Microsoft Teams integration lets the AI Companion read messages in channels and chats you have access to and, with your approval, post messages of its own. It is the fastest way to get something that happened on a calling block, a booked meeting, a notable objection, a daily summary, in front of the people who live in Teams.

Reading from Teams

  • List teams and channels the connected account belongs to

  • Read recent messages in a channel or chat

  • Search for a message or thread about an account

Posting, with approval

  • Post a message to a channel

  • Reply in an existing thread

  • Send a direct chat message

Every message is drafted, shown to you, and sent only once you approve it. The Companion does not post on its own schedule.

Common use cases

Announcing a booked meeting to the sales channel

A rep books a meeting during a parallel dialing session. They ask the Companion to post the account name and next step to the sales channel, approve the draft, and the AE picking it up sees it immediately.

Sharing an end-of-day calling summary

At the end of a block, a manager asks the Companion to summarize the session, connects, conversations and outcomes, and post it to the team channel so the numbers are visible without anyone opening a dashboard.

Escalating a support issue heard on a call

A prospect mentions a live outage affecting them. The rep has the Companion post the detail into the relevant Teams channel so support sees it in minutes rather than after the call notes are read.

How to connect Microsoft Teams to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select Microsoft Teams from the Composio-connected apps.

  3. Sign in with your Microsoft work account and approve the requested permissions. Some tenants require an administrator to grant consent.

  4. Confirm the connection shows as active in Salesfinity.

  5. Ask the Companion to list your channels, then post one test message to confirm approval works.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Microsoft Teams integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?

No. It reads and posts messages. It does not import people from your directory or create calling lists. Use the native CRM integrations or List Builder for contacts.

Will the Companion post automatically when a call ends?

No. Posting is an approved action you trigger by asking. There is no automatic notification stream from the dialer into Teams through this connection.

Can it join or record a Teams meeting?

No. This connection covers messages in channels and chats. Salesfinity records the calls placed through its own dialer, not Teams meetings.

What can the Companion see in Teams?

Only the teams, channels and chats the connected Microsoft account already has access to, and only within what your tenant's admin has consented to.
