Odoo
Assistant-level access to Odoo through Composio: the AI Companion can look up records and, with approval, create or update them.
What the Odoo integration does
Salesfinity's Odoo integration is assistant-level access through Composio, letting the AI Companion look up records in your Odoo instance and, with your approval, create or update them. Odoo is a full CRM and ERP, but this connection deliberately does not act like a native CRM integration: it does not import calling lists and it does not write call logs back to Odoo records.
What the Companion can look up
Contacts, companies and leads by name or by field
Opportunities and their stage, value and owner
Related records such as quotations, sales orders or invoices
Field values on a specific record you name
Approved writes
Create a lead or contact
Update a field on an existing record
Log an internal note against a record
Each write is presented for your approval before it runs.
If you want a real CRM integration
Salesfinity's native CRM integrations, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio and ActiveCampaign, are the ones that import contacts into calling lists and write call activity back to CRM records. Odoo is not among them today. If CRM-driven dialing and call log write-back are what you need, use one of the native integrations.
Common use cases
Checking an account's order history before a call
A rep is calling an existing customer about an expansion. They ask the Companion what that company has bought in Odoo, and open the call knowing the last order date and value.
Capturing a new lead heard on a call
Someone on a call names a sister company that should be contacted. The rep asks the Companion to create a lead in Odoo with the details, approves the write, and the name is captured before it is forgotten.
Confirming an invoice question mid-conversation
A customer raises a billing question during a call. Instead of promising to check later, the rep has the Companion look up the invoice status in Odoo and answers on the spot.
How to connect Odoo to Salesfinity
In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.
Select Odoo from the apps available through Composio.
Provide your Odoo instance URL, database name and API credentials.
Save and confirm the connection reports as active.
Ask the Companion to look up one known contact in Odoo to verify access.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Odoo integration import contacts into Salesfinity calling lists?
No. This is assistant-level access, not a CRM sync. For contact import into calling lists, use the native Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio or ActiveCampaign integrations, or build a list in List Builder.
Does Salesfinity write call logs back to Odoo?
No. Call activity write-back is a native CRM integration feature. Through Composio, the Companion can add a note to an Odoo record if you approve it, but that is a manual action rather than automatic logging.
Can the Companion change Odoo records on its own?
No. Creating or updating a record requires your explicit approval on that specific action.
What Odoo data can the Companion reach?
Whatever the connected Odoo user account is permitted to access. Model and field permissions in Odoo continue to apply.
