Prospeo

Enum-exact people search by title, seniority, department, years of experience, location, industry and headcount. People only, not companies.

What the Prospeo integration does

Salesfinity's Prospeo integration is the structured people-search provider: it matches on exact, fixed values for job title, seniority, department, years of experience, location, industry, and company headcount. It is the accuracy pick when you know precisely who you want — a specific title, in a specific place, with a specific experience band — rather than a description you would have to phrase loosely. Prospeo searches people only; it does not do company search.

Enum-exact people filters

  • Job title, seniority, and department, matched against Prospeo's fixed set of values rather than free text

  • Years of experience as a band, which is the filter most other providers in Salesfinity do not offer

  • Location, industry, and company employee-count range

  • Seniority values map cleanly from everyday phrasing — asking for C-level, CRO, or founder resolves to the right canonical value

Search first, pay for contact details separately

  • The search step itself is inexpensive and returns profiles

  • Contact details are a separate, paid enrichment step — they are not bundled into the search

  • That enrichment step always requires your explicit approval in Salesfinity before any credits are spent

Team-scoped and bring-your-own-key

  • Your Prospeo API key is stored per team, so searches run on your own Prospeo contract and credits

  • Connect, test, and disconnect from the integrations page without involving support

Common use cases

Targeting a title with an experience band

A recruiting-motion team needs software engineers in a named metro with five to ten years of experience. Prospeo's years-of-experience filter makes that a precise query rather than a description, so the resulting list is tight enough to dial without a manual pass to strip out juniors.

Building a seniority-clean list for cold calling

A rep wants VPs and above in revenue operations at companies of 200 to 500 employees. Because seniority and headcount are exact values in Prospeo, the list comes back without the near-miss titles that a looser search would include, which matters when a parallel dialer is going to burn through it quickly.

Keeping search spend low before committing to enrichment

A manager runs several Prospeo searches to size a segment before deciding which slice is worth calling. Search is the cheap step, so exploring costs little; only when the manager approves enrichment on the chosen list does Salesfinity spend contact credits.

Frequently asked questions

Can Prospeo search for companies in Salesfinity?

No. Salesfinity's Prospeo integration searches people only. For company and account targeting, use Sumble for technology and headcount criteria, Ocean.io for look-alikes seeded from your customers, or Exa for descriptive company searches.

Does a Prospeo search return phone numbers?

No. The search returns profiles; contact details are a separate paid enrichment step. In Salesfinity that enrichment always requires your explicit approval before credits are spent, so a search on its own never charges you for contact data.

When should I use Prospeo instead of Exa?

Use Prospeo when your criteria map to exact fields — a specific title, seniority, department, experience band, location, industry, or headcount range. Use Exa when your criteria are a description that no fixed filter captures. Salesfinity can route across providers, so a search can fall back when one has no coverage.

Whose Prospeo credits does this use?

Yours. Prospeo is bring-your-own-key and the key is stored per team, so searches and enrichments run against your own Prospeo account and contract.
