What the Resend integration does

Salesfinity's Resend integration lets the AI Companion send email through your Resend account and look up the delivery status of messages already sent. Resend is a developer-focused transactional email API, and this connection is made through Composio at the assistant level. Sending is a write action, so the Companion always shows you the recipient, subject, and body for approval before anything leaves your domain.

Common use cases

Sending a follow-up recap right after a connected call

A rep finishes a good conversation and the transcript is already in Salesfinity. Ask the Companion to draft a short recap based on what was actually said and send it through Resend, and you review the exact text before it goes out.

Confirming whether a message reached the prospect

When a prospect says they never got your email, ask the Companion to check the delivery status in Resend for that address. You get a factual answer about delivery or bounce instead of guessing, which also tells you whether the address on the contact record is bad.

How to connect Resend to Salesfinity

1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

2. Choose Resend from the Composio-connected apps.

3. Paste a Resend API key created in your Resend dashboard.

4. Confirm the connection shows as active in Salesfinity.

5. Verify your sending domain in Resend if you have not already, then ask the Companion to list your domains.

Frequently asked questions

Will the Companion send email without asking me?

No. Sending is a write action and requires your explicit approval each time. The Companion shows the recipient, subject line, and full body before anything is sent.

Does this turn Salesfinity into an email sequencer?

No. Resend here sends individual transactional messages you approve, not multi-step cadences. For sequenced outbound email, use a sales engagement platform such as Salesloft or Outreach alongside Salesfinity.

Does the Resend integration sync contacts into Salesfinity?

No. It does not import contacts or build calling lists. Contacts come from a native CRM integration, a CSV upload, or List Builder.

Which sending domain does it use?

Whichever verified domains exist in your own Resend account. Salesfinity does not provide sending infrastructure; the email is sent through your Resend account and appears in your Resend logs.
