Zoom

Lets the Salesfinity AI Companion read your Zoom meetings and recordings and schedule meetings on request, with approval before it books.

What the Zoom integration does

Salesfinity's Zoom integration lets the AI Companion read your Zoom meeting schedule, retrieve recordings and their transcripts, and create meetings when you ask it to. It is connected through Composio at the assistant level, which means the Companion acts in Zoom on your behalf in response to a request. It is not a recording pipeline: Salesfinity records and transcribes phone calls made through its own dialer, and Zoom meetings stay in Zoom.

Meetings

  • List your upcoming and past Zoom meetings

  • Retrieve the details of a specific meeting, including its join link and participants

  • Create a meeting and return the invite link

  • Update the time or title of a meeting you own

Recordings

  • Find cloud recordings for a past meeting

  • Retrieve a recording transcript where Zoom has produced one

  • Summarize what was discussed in a meeting you point the Companion at

Scheduling, updating, and deleting meetings are write actions and are shown to you for approval before they run.

Common use cases

Booking the demo the moment a cold call converts

A parallel dialing session produces a live prospect who agrees to a demo. Instead of leaving the flow, ask the Companion to create a Zoom meeting at the agreed time and hand back the link, then approve it and paste the link into the follow-up.

Preparing for a demo using what was said on the cold call

The first conversation was a Salesfinity phone call with a transcript; the demo is on Zoom. Ask the Companion to summarize what the prospect said on the call and pull the details of the upcoming Zoom meeting, so whoever runs the demo knows the context before joining.

Reviewing a discovery call recording after the fact

Ask the Companion to fetch the transcript of a specific Zoom cloud recording and pull out the objections raised. This gives managers a way to look at meeting conversations alongside the AI call scoring Salesfinity already runs on dialer calls.

How to connect Zoom to Salesfinity

  1. In Salesfinity, open Settings → Integrations.

  2. Select Zoom from the Composio-connected apps and choose Connect.

  3. Sign in to Zoom and approve the requested meeting and recording permissions.

  4. Confirm the connection returns to Salesfinity and shows as active.

  5. Ask the AI Companion to list your upcoming meetings to verify access.

Frequently asked questions

Does Salesfinity record my Zoom meetings?

No. Salesfinity records and transcribes calls placed through its own dialer. Zoom meeting recording is done by Zoom, and this integration only retrieves recordings Zoom has already made and stored in the cloud.

Does the Zoom integration sync contacts or calling lists?

No. It is assistant-level and does not sync records. Contacts for the dialer come from a native CRM integration such as Salesforce or HubSpot, a CSV upload, or List Builder.

Will the Companion schedule meetings without asking?

No. Creating or changing a meeting requires your approval first. The Companion shows the proposed time, title, and invitees before booking anything.

Are Zoom meetings scored by Salesfinity's AI call scoring?

No. AI call scoring runs on calls placed through the Salesfinity dialer. The Companion can read and summarize a Zoom transcript on request, but that is a chat response, not a scored call record.
